Bienvenue au PRP

Le Partenariat pour la résilience du Pacifique (PRP) est le mécanisme de mise en œuvre du Cadre pour le développement de la résilience dans le Pacifique (FRDP) et a été créé en 2017.

Le FDRP fournit des orientations stratégiques de haut niveau aux différents groupes de parties prenantes sur la façon d'améliorer la résilience aux changements climatiques et aux catastrophes de manière à contribuer au développement durable et à s'y intégrer.

Avec trois objectifs stratégiques à l'esprit.

    PRP - Call for Interests - Short Courses

    The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) and The University of the South Pacific (USP) through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia and European Union funded Intra-ACP GCCA+ Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change and Resilience Building (PACRES) and Pacific-European Union Marine Partnership (PEUMP) programmes are offering fully funded short trainings on the following courses:

     

    1. Grant Writing Training - 23rd to 25th February, 2022.
    2. Report Writing Training - 3rd to 4th March, 2022.
    3. Project Management Training - 15th to 17th March, 2022.
    4. Training of Trainers Resilience Certificate Level 1 - 29th March to 31 March 2022.

     

    Note: These courses are full day virtual/ blended classes via zoom with online facilitation of activities.

  • Flyer Call for Proposals Youth Hub

    PRP Youth Hub - Call for Proposals

    The Pacific Resilience Partnership (PRP), through the PRP Youth Hub and with funding support from the Government of Australia through the grant agreement managed by the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) supporting implementation of the PRP, is calling for youth-led project proposals that will contribute to the resilience of their communities.

     

    Below are some of the conditions and timelines for this proposal. For queries or clarifications, please send an email to the addresses provided.

    Conditions

    The following are the conditions to guide the calls for proposals:

    1. Must be a youth-led initiative.
    2. Must benefit a community or communities through building their resilience.
    3. Should be aligned with the FRDP goals and principles.
    4. Budget for the initiative should not exceed FJD10,000 and will only cover procurement of material, though any service costs can be considered on a case by case basis.
    5. All funding will need to be expended before 31st March, 2022.
    6. The proponents of the proposal will be required to monitor and report back on the outcome/ impact of the project.

     

    Timelines

    1. Closing date for calls for proposal is COB 18 February, 2022 (Fiji date and time).
    2. Decision by PRP Youth Hub in collaboration with PIFS will be shared no later than 25 February, 2022.
    3. Procurement of material to commence 28 February, 2022.
    4. First report back by proponent of proposal on 14 March, 2022.
    5. Second report back by proponent of proposal on 4 April, 2022.

The PRP is an open-ended partnership and it provides members with a vast array of opportunities to strengthen resilience action. Membership requires no subscription fee and is voluntary; however, formal affiliation is required.
